Industrial Engineer
Essential Job Functions:
· Compile time study data, input time study data, and calculate associate percent performance by individual work element and overall performance
· Train operations management and hourly personnel on Distribution Center Methods
· Analyze workforce utilization and operation data, such as production costs, production flow charts, and production schedules to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment
· Recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities
· Confer with management and engineering associates to implement plans and recommendations
· Participate in industrial engineering projects
· Complete cost analysis utilizing engineering templates
· Maintain flexibility to work any shift, including weekends
· Maintain flexibility to travel up to 50% to other locations for time studies and continuous improvement projects
· Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Minimum Position Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics or mathematics
· Ability to provide excellent customer service, to both internal and external customers
· Ability to preserve confidentiality of information
· Excellent analytical skills
· Highly organized with ability to multi-task
· Familiarity with industrial engineering terms and processes
· Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
· Ability to continue education as necessary
