Alumni Relations Special Event Assistant

Under instruction of the Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving, the Special Event Assistants will help plan and execute special events to include (but not limited to): 

• Family Weekend (September) 

• Homecoming (October) Revised March 28, 2023 

• Giving Tuesday (December) 

• Day of Giving (April) 

• Almost Alumni Week (April) 

• Grad Week (as needed) 

• Assist with event set up (setting up tables, chairs, signage), event registration (welcoming guests and handing out name badges), event assistance (taking photos, assisting/mingling with guests) and event clean up (tearing down event, returning items to Alumni Relations House) Assist with special projects as needed by the Alumni Relations team. Obtain golf cart certification (provided by Bridgewater College Human Resources). 

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS 

• Enrolled as a full-time student at Bridgewater College 

• Experience with events 

• Willingness to work as a team

 • Ability to lift 20 pounds and stand for long durations of time
